How long does meal prepped food stay fresh?
Most prepped meals last 4-5 days in the fridge when stored in airtight containers. We design our plans around this window so nothing goes to waste. Proteins and grains hold up best. For anything past 4 days, we include freezer-friendly options you can pull out and reheat.
How long does the actual prep take?
Most of our weekly meal prep sessions take 1.5-2.5 hours on Sunday. We sequence the steps so your oven, stovetop, and passive time (rice cooking, oats soaking) all overlap. The goal is one focused session, not an all-day kitchen marathon.
Won't I get bored eating the same meals all week?
We build variety into the system. You might use the same roasted chicken in a grain bowl, a wrap, and a soup across the week. Different sauces, different vegetables, same base protein. It feels like different meals because the flavors change even when the prep was done all at once.
What containers do I need for meal prepping?
Glass containers with snap-lock lids work best — they don't stain, reheat safely, and seal well. A set of 10-12 single-compartment containers covers most plans. We also recommend a few small sauce cups for dressings and condiments that should stay separate until serving.
Can I freeze meal prepped food?
Absolutely. We flag which meals in each plan are freezer-friendly. Soups, meatballs, grain bowls, and burritos freeze beautifully. We recommend freezing anything you won't eat within 4 days. Thaw overnight in the fridge and reheat the next day.
