Instructions
Warm the milk to 110F. Stir in yeast and a pinch of sugar. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy. Mix in remaining sugar, melted butter, and egg. Add flour and salt, knead for 5 minutes until smooth. Let rise in a covered bowl for 1 hour.
Roll dough into a 16x12-inch rectangle. Spread with softened butter, then sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon.
